Senior Java Developer

Location: Gdynia, Poland; hybrid work with 2 days per week from the office

Salary: 900–1,300 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Develop new application modules based on business requirements.
• Design and implement efficient, scalable backend solutions.
• Review and improve code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Write clean, structured code following engineering best practices.
• Build and enhance a business-critical employee time-tracking system used by tens of thousands of employees each month.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java and backend development principles.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate Criteria API and batch processing.
• Practical experience with Docker and AWS services, including ECS, S3, and RDS.
• Availability for hybrid work from the Gdynia office two days per week.
