Apprentice Technician (HVAC)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States. Field-based work is conducted on-site at customer locations.

Hourly base pay: $23.86–$36.92.

What you will do

• Assist experienced service technicians with the installation, servicing, diagnosis, and repair of environmental control systems.
• Identify equipment issues, examine systems, plan repairs, and support customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with supervising field technicians, project managers, and customers on on-site installations.
• Forecast installation issues, gather materials, and synchronize field work.
• Use software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Maintain high safety standards and accountability for company assets.

Requirements

• No industry experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old on the first day of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months and have no major or frequent traffic violations in the last three years.
• Strong desire to learn a skilled trade and make a direct impact.
• Technical school certificates or formal HVAC training are not required but may influence program proficiency and starting compensation.
