HVAC Craftsperson (HVAC)

Location: Hutchinson, Minnesota, United States; onsite plant-based role

Salary: $44.63–$47.13 per hour

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and maintain plant utility equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, compressed air, and vacuum systems.
• Maintain site utility equipment and recommend modifications for continuous improvement.
• Support site energy reduction goals.
• Test and manage site water treatment equipment.
• Maintain building automation systems and electronic and pneumatic controls for utility equipment.
• Test and maintain fire protection systems while following safety and security standards.

Requirements

• Completed and verified two-year technical degree in HVAC before starting.
• Universal certification in refrigerant handling.
• Availability for flexible hours, overtime on short notice, and call-ins based on business needs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not authorized.

Nice to have

• Fire protection experience.
• Cooling tower water chemistry knowledge.
• Siemens building automation experience.
• Completion of an in-plant HVAC training program.
• Understanding of utility operations and systems, along with strong attendance and a willingness to learn.
