IT Business Systems Analyst (AI)

Salary: $70,138.85–$90,000.00 per year, plus bonus and/or commission eligibility

What you will do

• Gather and document requirements across billing, collections, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and accounting operations.
• Translate order-to-cash and record-to-report needs into system configurations, workflows, automation, reports, integrations, and data validation rules.
• Partner with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders on solution feasibility, process design, fit-gap analysis, and issue resolution.
• Plan and coordinate testing, regression validation, defect triage, release readiness, and business sign-off.
• Support production incidents, data discrepancies, financial reconciliations, reporting, and financial close activities.
• Maintain requirements, process flows, test documentation, training materials, risks, dependencies, and enhancement records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of IT business analysis experience or equivalent enterprise application and process improvement experience.
• Working knowledge of enterprise financial applications, billing, collections, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, subledger accounting, general ledger impacts, and ASC 606.
• Experience with ERP financial modules, billing or revenue management systems, end-to-end order-to-cash data flows, and financial integrations.
• Working knowledge of SQL or query tools, APIs, integration payloads, error logs, debugging, version control, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, facilitation, process modeling, organization, problem-solving, and Microsoft Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software licensing, subscription-based models, and usage-based billing.
• Insurance industry experience.
• Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Jira, and file-based, batch, or API integrations.
