Sales Specialist Mass Spectrometry

Location: Remote within the Virginia, Maryland, or Washington D.C. area; 35% travel required

Salary: $117,000–$208,650 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits

What you will do

• Drive sales of high-performance Mass Spectrometry systems and solutions.
• Develop MS opportunities among commercial, government, and academic institutions.
• Create and execute strategies and tactics for selling complex MS-based solutions.
• Carry quota and receive credit for LC/MS and GC/MS sales in the assigned geography.
• Collaborate independently and with Account Managers and Application Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent university degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
• At least 2 years of experience in industry, academia, government, or sales.
• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Mass Spectrometry, applications, and workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and solid presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a complex matrix environment and as part of a team.
• Must live in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington D.C.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical workflows.
