Director of Learning & Development

Location: Remote - Georgia, United States; the ideal candidate is located in Atlanta, GA.

What you will do

• Build and implement a centralized enterprise learning and development framework, including governance, standards, and scalable delivery systems.
• Own and continuously improve onboarding programs for new hires and employees joining through acquisitions.
• Manage Workday Learning and establish best practices for learning design and delivery.
• Partner with department leaders and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and develop practical training content.
• Define learning KPIs, including time-to-competency, knowledge retention, and completion rates, and use data to improve programs.
• Build and lead a functional training team supporting Sales, Customer Experience, and Product.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, including at least 3 years owning a training function or program portfolio end-to-end.
• Experience building and scaling an L&D function, training program, content library, and repeatable processes from an early stage.
• Hands-on experience with multimodal learning design, including video, scenario-based exercises, job aids, live facilitation, and microlearning.
• Strong instructional design skills focused on practical application and translating complex processes and product capabilities into effective training.
• Ability to collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts, influence without direct authority, and work independently in a high-output environment.
• Experience using Claude or other AI tools to accelerate content creation and improve training experiences.

Nice to have

• Degree or certification in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Learning, Design & Technology, or a related field.
• Workday Learning proficiency.
