(Senior) Data Center Technician (AI)

Location: Madrid, Spain; full-time on-site work with 8-hour shift rotation covering 24/7 operations

hirify.global is building a full-stack AI cloud spanning data centers, hardware, and a cloud platform for AI teams.

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and other data center hardware.
• Perform hardware break/fix, rack builds, copper and fibre cabling, and link-level troubleshooting.
• Monitor temperature, humidity, power, and other environmental conditions, responding to alerts and supporting infrastructure uptime.
• Plan and execute machine installations, data center build-outs, migrations, refresh projects, and new data hall openings.
• Collaborate with remote hands teams, network engineers, system administrators, the Site Manager, and infrastructure leadership.
• At senior level, lead technical deployments, mentor junior technicians, improve procedures, and help build the on-site team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise GPU servers, including NVIDIA Ampere, Hopper, or Blackwell generations.
• Ability to work independently across routine hardware, cabling, troubleshooting, and site operations.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in shift rotation and participate in 24/7 on-call operations.
• Professional fluency in English is required for internal and global communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with liquid cooling, including DLC loops and maintenance of liquid cooling solutions.
• Experience leading site build-outs, data hall openings, or large cluster deployments.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior technicians.
