Thermo-Mechanical Design Engineer (Space)

hirify.global CRISA develops electronic flight equipment for launcher, Earth exploration, space exploration, and commercial satellite programs.

What you will do

• Analyze project requirements and support technical and physical design leadership.
• Develop mechanical and thermal architectures for modules and electronic units across complete mission scenarios.
• Perform thermal, mechanical, vibration, shock, and finite element analyses to ensure design robustness.
• Document designs and analyses and support requirements, preliminary, architecture, and critical design reviews.
• Support flight equipment acceptance testing and monitor changes, evolutions, and discrepancies.
• Help resolve non-conformances during qualification and acceptance test campaigns.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in thermodynamics and heat transfer analysis.
• Experience in mechanical analysis, including static and dynamic analysis, sinusoidal and random vibration, and shock transient analysis.
• Proficiency with HyperMesh, Femap, and Nastran NX.
• Approximately five years of experience in thermodynamics and mechanical design.
• English at C1 level and Spanish required.

Nice to have

• Python, TCL, Bash, C/C++, scripting, automation, and digital design tools.
• Knowledge of space-environment constraints.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Fast prototyping hardware techniques.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn and teach.
