Associate, Venture Growth (Technology)

Location: Menlo Park, California, United States; office-based role

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 USD annually, excluding discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Support the full investment lifecycle, from thesis development and sourcing through diligence, execution, and portfolio monitoring.
• Conduct business, market, management, competitive, financial, cap table, and legal due diligence.
• Research technology markets and identify potential investment opportunities.
• Build relationships with private companies, founders, entrepreneurs, and investors through conferences and meetings.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present analysis and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Contribute to selected internal processes and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in technology investment banking, consulting, principal investing, growth equity, private equity, mid- or late-stage venture capital, or analytical work at a high-growth technology company.
• Strong interest in technology and emerging business models, with the ability to form independent views on market developments.
• Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, including Excel financial modeling.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing deadlines with strong ownership and attention to detail.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with founders, investors, and internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to structure and present complex ideas clearly and persuasively in writing and verbally.
