Investment Banking Associate (Activism & Shareholder Advisory)

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite at the New York office

Salary: USD 150,000–225,000 base salary per year, plus potential discretionary bonus

hirify.global is a global investment banking and financial services firm. The Activism and Shareholder Advisory team supports corporate clients facing shareholder activism, hostile approaches, contested M&A, and governance matters.

What you will do

• Develop tailored analyses with industry coverage teams and support client dialogue.
• Work on live activism, raid defense, hostile M&A, and contested M&A situations.
• Conduct market research and surveillance on activism, shareholder, and governance trends.
• Analyze market developments and prepare thought leadership on relevant events.
• Create quantitative and qualitative analyses of clients’ vulnerability to activism.
• Collaborate with investment banking, industry, and product coverage teams across transactions and advisory engagements.

Requirements

• Experience relevant to investment banking, M&A, shareholder activism, corporate governance, or strategic advisory.
• Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative financial and market analysis.
• Ability to research activism, shareholder, governance, and M&A trends.
• Ability to work with senior management and boards of directors.
• Ability to work onsite in the New York office, United States.
