develops and manufactures commercial aircraft and related systems, with an engineering center in Mobile supporting aircraft design, upgrades, reconfigurations, and services.
What you will do
- Manage procurement transactions for goods and services in line with General Procurement procedures, commodity strategies, and customer requirements.
- Maintain contract storage, procurement data, and schedule visibility in SAP, Click & Source, and Click n Buy.
- Support local and global sourcing projects, including spend analysis, tender preparation, contract amendments, and negotiations.
- Contribute to savings initiatives through specification standardization, demand control, volume aggregation, and escalation of project blockages.
- Coordinate communication among internal customers, multifunctional teams, category buyers, suppliers, and regional procurement organizations.
- Coach less experienced team members and recommend improvements to procurement processes and tools.
Requirements
- At least five years of procurement experience with increasing responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project management skills and knowledge of finance, operations, negotiation, and communication.
- Experience participating in and leading work-focused teams.
- English fluency sufficient for full participation in negotiations.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and in a quality-focused manufacturing organization.
Nice to have
- Project Management, Purchasing, or Supply Chain certification.
- Fluency in French, German, or Spanish.
