What you will do

• Oversee study start-up performance and teams across the assigned region.
• Manage staffing and resources to maintain departmental utilization.
• Drive study start-up teams to meet project timelines and contractual requirements.
• Improve team job knowledge, presentation skills, and accountability.
• Partner with the VP and SSU management in the US and other regions to streamline global processes and efficiencies.
• Apply risk management principles to study start-up operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in a clinical, scientific, or health-related field.
• 7–9 years of related health sciences experience, preferably in clinical trials support or the pharmaceutical industry.
• Direct experience in study start-up roles is highly preferred.
• 5–7 years of personnel management experience, preferably overseeing larger groups.
• Expertise in ICH/GCP and/or ISO 14155 requirements.
• Detailed knowledge of country-specific regulatory requirements, FDA, European Regulatory, EC procedures, and site or institution-specific contract requirements.
