Delivery Lead I Programme Lead Strategic Initiatives

What you will do

• Lead strategic, cross-functional technology and business programmes from discovery through implementation and value realisation.
• Define programme scope, objectives, governance, success measures, roadmaps, milestones, and operating rhythms with senior sponsors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate technology teams, business workstreams, product and engineering leaders, architects, and external delivery partners.
• Manage programme risks, dependencies, issues, budgets, resources, capacity, and delivery impediments.
• Track delivery performance, benefits realisation, business value, KPIs, and programme outcomes for leadership.
• Drive change adoption, continuous improvement, delivery capability maturity, and mentoring across delivery teams.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology or business transformation programmes using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong programme and portfolio management experience, including governance, roadmaps, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Experience coordinating multiple technology teams, workstreams, stakeholders, vendors, and external delivery partners.
• Understanding of the end-to-end software and product delivery lifecycle, including work in enterprise, R&D, data-intensive, or regulated environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, strategic thinking, communication, and decision-support skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise-wide transformation programmes or strategic change portfolios.
• SAFe Agile, Release Train Engineer, MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or similar programme management certification.
• Experience delivering cloud-based technology or working in agricultural R&D, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
• Postgraduate qualification in business, technology, engineering, science, or programme management.
• Experience assessing and improving delivery capability maturity across teams.
