Referral PCC (Mental Health Care)

Location: Remote within the United States; availability for an 8:00am–4:30pm EST or 10:30am–7:00pm EST shift is required.

Salary: $18.90 per hour

What you will do

• Manage inbound referral workflows, contact referred patients by phone, text, and email, and support psychiatric evaluation scheduling.
• Use motivational interviewing and persuasive communication to address concerns and encourage patients to schedule care.
• Match patients with appropriate psychiatrists based on need, geography, and insurance using internal scheduling tools.
• Coordinate outbound referrals to partner organizations for services outside hirify.global’s scope of care.
• Confirm referral receipt, submit documentation, track intake status, and keep referring providers updated.
• Document referral activity accurately and follow up with patients and partners to close the loop.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare coordination, patient intake, call center work, or referrals.
• Clear verbal and written communication, empathy, strong phone presence, and persuasive communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with CRMs, EHRs including eClinicalWorks, and ticketing systems such as Zendesk or ServiceNow.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.
• Must be available for one of the stated EST shifts.

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating care or referrals across multiple organizations or provider networks.
• Sales or customer retention experience, including upselling, rebooking, or high-volume conversion roles.
