TL;DR

Focus on conducting site assessments, analyzing incident data, delivering safety training, and guiding clients through sustainable corrective actions.

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the local office or working onsite with clients. Travel to client sites is required up to 50%.

Salary: $112,600–$239,800 base salary per year, with potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

  • Conduct comprehensive safety and hazard assessments across client sites and identify compliance gaps and corrective actions.
  • Analyze injury, near-miss, and incident data to identify trends, root causes, and targeted risk-reduction interventions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training while coaching managers, supervisors, and frontline employees on accountability and safety culture.
  • Advise clients on regulatory changes, OSHA inspections, third-party audits, written safety programs, and job hazard analyses.
  • Manage multiple consulting projects, maintain client relationships, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with risk engineering, ergonomics, claims, HR, and operations teams to implement sustainable safety improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience developing and implementing safety management systems or managing health and safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, management systems, site assessments, safety program evaluations, data analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to travel to client sites up to 50% and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Denver, with at least three days per week in the local office or at client sites.

Nice to have

  • Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification.
  • Supervisory experience.
