Field Service Engineer (Gaming Systems)

Location: Ellifoot Lane, Hull, United Kingdom; extensive travel to customer sites across the UK, with occasional travel to Europe and regular overnight stays.

What you will do

• Install, commission, support, and maintain IT-based gaming systems at customer sites.
• Work with wireless and LAN networks, structured cabling, servers, associated hardware, tablet PCs, and charging stations.
• Apply software updates with guidance from in-house specialists when required.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance, site surveys, and installation planning.
• Investigate technical issues, coordinate with the support team, and provide customer training and support.
• Represent ECM Systems professionally on-site and deliver strong customer service.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and eligibility to be insured on company fleet vehicles.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including regular overnight stays.
• Flexibility to work early starts, evenings, and occasional weekends.
• Basic IT and networking knowledge with strong technical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office for basic technical documentation and site diagrams.
• Confidence working independently, using initiative, and engaging professionally with customers under pressure.

Nice to have

• Previous field service, installation, or technical experience; full training is provided.
• Knowledge or experience in the UK bingo, casino, or gaming industry.
