Field Service Technician (Fintech)

Location: Chelmsford, United Kingdom; Central/South Essex. The role involves regular travel to high-security sites and occasional longer-distance journeys to collect larger parts.

What you will do

• Attend high-security sites to support ATM cash removal while following security procedures and wearing required equipment.
• Deliver large parts to engineers on-site and assist during service visits.
• Manage stock control by returning used parts, ordering replacements, and maintaining inventory.
• Handle low-level maintenance issues, including card reader faults, printer faults, and note jams.
• Process non-engineering service tickets, such as locksmith, alarm handover, and BT meeting requests.
• Travel to collect larger parts and complete physically demanding field-support activities.

Requirements

• Valid SIA license or willingness to attend one week of fully paid training in Rotherham.
• Full UK driving license required and confidence driving a large van.
• Strong local geographical knowledge and willingness to travel long distances.
• Basic fault-finding skills; experience with electronic or mechanical devices is beneficial.
• Strong administrative and communication skills, with some heavy lifting required.
• Successful candidates must provide a three-year traceable work and education history and complete criminal record and credit checks.
