Service Technician

Location: Bradford, York, UK. Field-based role with work conducted on-site at customer locations. Scheduled standby and call-outs may include weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.

What you will do

• Diagnose system problems and repair climate-control products and equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, warranty work, hire support, and commissioning.
• Use diagnostic software, apps, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to complete technical work.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted point of contact.
• Coordinate with the Service Desk, Sales, Operations, supervisors, regional service managers, and senior technicians.
• Prepare regular reports for completed invoiced work orders and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a service or field-based technician role.
• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Appropriate skills-based certificates with F-Gas qualification.
• Proficiency with diagnostic applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
• UK driving licence and confirmed right to work in the UK required.
