Reliability Engineer (Aerospace)

Company

MT Aerospace, a subsidiary of OHB, develops, manufactures, and tests aerospace components for launch vehicles, satellites, spacecraft, and aircraft using metal and fibre-composite manufacturing technologies.

What you will do

• Conduct reliability analyses covering availability, maintainability, and safety for technical systems, components, and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and maintain Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analyses and fault tree analyses.
• Perform test evaluation, interpretation, and statistical analyses.
• Improve product quality, process stability, and reliability methods.
• Chair preventive risk management meetings.

Requirements

• Degree in reliability engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in reliability engineering, RAMS, FMEA, or risk analysis.
• Good knowledge of mathematical statistics.
• Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of aerospace development processes.
• Experience with the calculation of failure probabilities.
