DOA Management Engineer (d/f/m)

Location: Manching, Germany; mobile working and flexible working arrangements are supported where possible.

What you will do

• Manage Design Organisation Approval processes and ensure compliance with aviation regulations, airworthiness standards, and organisational requirements.
• Coordinate activities between DOA Management, internal Design Organisation departments, and National Airworthiness Authorities.
• Prepare, review, approve, implement, and maintain DOA manuals, procedures, and controlled documentation.
• Monitor approval statuses, key actions, and deliverables against designated timeframes.
• Support changes to Design Organisation procedures and systems, as well as internal reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain rigorous document control and full traceability of compliance records.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline, plus professional experience in aerospace or another highly regulated environment.
• Experience in an EASA Part 21J Design Organisation or airworthiness environment.
• Knowledge of German Defence Airworthiness regulations and Design Organisation Approval requirements.
• Hands-on experience managing manuals, procedures, approvals, controlled documentation, and compliance records.
• Familiarity with aviation quality management systems and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required.
