AIT Senior Test Technician (Proto) (Aerospace)

The Exploration Company develops, produces, and operates Nyx, a modular and reusable orbital vehicle for space transportation.

What you will do

• Prepare, integrate, and execute environmental tests for spacecraft subsystems and hardware, including vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum testing.
• Own preparation and execution of qualification campaigns for internally developed prototype components such as valves.
• Prepare hardware, tooling, instrumentation, and ground support equipment, including MGSE machining and FGSE preparation.
• Install thermocouples, accelerometers, harnesses, and other instrumentation according to test procedures and engineering requirements.
• Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot environmental test facilities and associated monitoring systems.
• Document operations, report anomalies and observations, and support engineers in improving test processes and setups.

Requirements

• Technical degree or vocational training in aerospace, electronics, mechatronics, industrial systems, or a related technical field.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, industrial testing, or another high-reliability technical environment.
• Hands-on experience with environmental testing equipment, instrumentation installation, mechanical integration, or laboratory operations.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures and engineering drawings, assemble mechanical test setups, and use measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, calibrated equipment, controlled procedures, and technical documentation.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
