Digital Logistics Lead

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week in the office.

Salary: £32,900–£37,300 per year.

What you will do

• Lead seasonal temporary and fixed-term teams during peak exam delivery periods.
• Manage the picking, packing, filing, quality checking, and distribution of physical and digital exam materials.
• Support planning for each exam series, including space, capacity, resources, expenditure, and delivery plans.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, progress, risks, incidents, and management information, escalating issues when required.
• Develop work instructions, training materials, quality assurance checklists, and robust operational processes.
• Analyse operational data, streamline processes, improve productivity, and embed best practice across logistics operations.

Requirements

• Experience leading teams in logistics, operations, distribution, fulfilment, or a similar environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Experience monitoring performance, tracking delivery against plans, and managing operational risks.
• Data-driven approach with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across different levels of an organisation.
• Experience developing processes, quality standards, or continuous improvement initiatives.
