HR Business Partner / Senior HR Business Partner (Game Development)

Location: Hybrid work with a few days per week from the Warsaw office; candidates based near Warsaw or willing to relocate to Poland are preferred.

hirify.global is an independent game studio founded by industry veterans, currently developing the AAA dark fantasy RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker.

What you will do

• Partner with managers and team leads on day-to-day people management and employee-related matters.
• Handle complex and sensitive employee relations cases, performance issues, organizational changes, and exits.
• Advise managers on Polish labor law, internal policies, HR best practices, and people-related decisions.
• Identify HR risks, analyze people data and trends, and recommend actions.
• Improve HR processes, policies, job grading, salary benchmarking, compensation reviews, and employee communications.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employment documentation, offboarding, and exit interviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a broad HR role, such as HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or HR Generalist, preferably in game development, technology, or another fast-moving organization.
• Background in psychology, HR management, law, or a related field.
• Experience with HR Operations or Payroll, complex employee matters, performance management, and employment termination processes.
• Good working knowledge of Polish labor law.
• Very good written and spoken Polish and English.
• Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, discretion, independent judgment, ownership, and adaptability.

Nice to have

• Training in coaching, facilitation, mediation, communication, or soft-skills group training.
• Experience designing performance evaluation and employee development processes.
• Experience with HR metrics, people analytics, organizational change, company growth, or senior leadership.
