hirify.global is recruiting for a manufacturer of specialty structural steel products developing and supporting in-house manufacturing software and a new ERP platform.

What you will do

• Develop and enhance functionality across the legacy manufacturing execution system and new ERP platform.
• Support database design, optimization, and development using relational database technologies.
• Assist with data migration from legacy environments into the new ERP platform.
• Build and maintain secure APIs and application integrations.
• Manage testing, deployment, troubleshooting, reporting tools, and production support for business systems and shop-floor integrations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and senior technical leadership.

Requirements

• Professional software development experience with Python and working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills; MySQL experience is preferred.
• Experience building APIs and system data exchanges across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience or familiarity with ERP, MES, inventory management, or order management platforms.
• Ability to test, review, and validate code produced with AI coding assistants.
• Mid-level technical foundation with interest in enterprise ERP/MES and manufacturing software.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments involving work orders, bills of materials, production planning, or quality control.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude or Codex.
