Procurement Manager Aerostructures - Fast Track & Special Programmes (d/f/m) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Represent Aerostructures Procurement in early industrial architecture and engineering forums.
• Coordinate make-or-buy decisions, core versus non-core definitions, technology scouting, and initial supplier ecosystem design.
• Facilitate value engineering, target costing, design-to-cost activities, and early procurement cost estimation.
• Integrate long-lead items, prototype tooling, supplier development, and procurement milestones into programme schedules.
• Manage early-stage RFIs, RFPs, tenders, supplier assessments, and development contract alignment.
• Lead procurement milestone reviews and support convergence from development sourcing into series production.

Requirements

• Strong experience in aerospace project procurement, New Product Introduction, or supply chain coordination in complex matrix organizations.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct disciplinary authority.
• Understanding of industrial cost estimation, programme scheduling, aerospace procurement mechanisms, and supplier capabilities.
• Ability to challenge engineering and procurement stakeholders while maintaining long-term procurement strategy.
• Experience creating structure, schedules, and definitions in ambiguous early-development environments.
