Program Officer, Instructional Design

Location: Remote, anywhere in the United States; required domestic travel up to 20%.

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 annually.

What you will do

• Deliver instructional design for online trainings, self-paced courses, instructor-led courses, webinars, meetings, videos, guides, and toolkits.
• Review learning materials created by internal and external subject matter experts and provide instructional design guidance.
• Produce Switchboard webinars and meetings and research innovative training practices.
• Incorporate practitioner knowledge into training and learning resources.
• Lead updates and maintenance of existing learning resources and promote continuous improvement.
• Analyze participant feedback and evaluation data and contribute to workplans and program reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of experience developing and implementing training, technical assistance, capacity-building, or education programs.
• Experience developing and producing virtual multimedia training, including webinars, online courses, or self-paced e-learning.
• Experience contributing to monitoring and evaluation, including data collection, management, and reporting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to build capacity at multiple staff levels.
• Ability to manage complex projects with strict timelines.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Office of Refugee Resettlement-funded programs.
• Experience working with external subject matter experts or consultants.
