Training Development Manager (Instructional Design)

Location: Remote in Georgia, United States; 10–20% travel required for offsite meetings and restaurant training engagements.

What you will do

• Design e-learning solutions from ideation through storyboarding and development.
• Develop instructor-led training curricula, facilitator guides, and participant materials.
• Conduct needs analysis and align learning solutions with business, franchise, and employee needs.
• Manage training projects, deliverables, milestones, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional contributors.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal clients, project leads, and field learning partners.
• Support training communications, course releases, updates, evaluation, and ROI assessment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrable instructional design experience across multiple delivery formats.
• Experience with needs analysis, training evaluation, visual design, scripting, and video production.
• Project management experience with multiple workstreams, vendors, budgets, and deadlines.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across corporate leadership and restaurant environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in QSR, retail, restaurant, or general operations.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and authoring tools such as Storyline.
• Restaurant or retail management experience with training accountability.
• Experience coaching junior team members.
