Finance Leader (Healthcare Tech)

Location: London (Shoreditch), hybrid; office attendance required 3 days per week. Core hours are 10am–4pm.

What you will do

• Lead the finance function during a 12-month maternity cover, raising the standard of reporting and commercial finance support.
• Develop trading metrics and improve the speed, quality, and usefulness of commercial reporting.
• Own accounting, financial operations, treasury, compliance, audit, budgeting, and quarterly forecasting.
• Partner with commercial teams on planning, decision-making, margin improvement, and cost optimisation.
• Work with the data team to automate reporting infrastructure and reduce reliance on spreadsheets.
• Manage and develop two direct reports: the FP&A Manager and Finance Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Experience operating autonomously at Finance Director, Head of Finance, or senior FP&A level, including finance team management.
• Prior experience in an interim role with a track record of improving an established function.
• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification.
• Strong commercial or trading business partnering experience, with examples of influencing decisions through financial insight.
• Experience in a mature-stage B2B SME, ideally a fast-growing, PE- or VC-backed business scaling between £30m and £200m.
• Experience owning the full finance remit and building or automating commercial reporting systems with data teams.
