TL;DR
Head of FP&A (Finance/Retail): Leading Group planning, forecasting and performance reporting across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow with an accent on executive-level insight, commercial judgment and decision support. Focus on improving FP&A processes, automation and reporting standards while leading a team of 10 and partnering with the CFO, Executive Team, Board and Investor Relations.
Location: Nuneaton, with a hybrid arrangement requiring three days per week in the office, typically Monday and Tuesday in Nuneaton and Thursday in London. Permanent, full-time role.

What you will do
- Own Group budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning across the business.
- Deliver an integrated view of performance across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
- Prepare clear performance reporting and narrative for the CFO, Executive Team and Board.
- Identify performance drivers, risks and opportunities and ensure appropriate actions follow.
- Partner with the CFO and support Investor Relations with insight on performance, outlook and value drivers.
- Lead a team of 10 across FP&A and the Analyst Centre of Excellence, improving processes, automation and reporting standards.
Requirements
- Experience leading FP&A in a complex, multi-site business at Group level.
- Strong experience in planning, forecasting, performance reporting and decision support.
- Commercial judgment and the ability to challenge assumptions, simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience improving Finance processes and operating models and developing high-performing teams.
- Professional Finance qualification such as ACCA or CIMA is required.
- Ability to work from the contractual base in Nuneaton and attend the Nuneaton and London offices three days per week.
