Senior Principal Process Engineer (Oil and Gas)

hirify.global Careers is hiring for process engineering and design work across hydrocarbon and energy projects.

What you will do

• Lead process engineering, design, configuration, and optimization studies.
• Perform process simulations and prepare process and utility flow diagrams, heat and material balances, and utility balances.
• Create P&IDs and prepare datasheets for process equipment and instruments.
• Conduct relief and blowdown studies, analyze relief load scenarios, and calculate flare network requirements.
• Perform equipment sizing and line hydraulics calculations.
• Contribute to concept studies, feasibility reports, FEED, detailed design projects, process design philosophies, and operating guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of relevant engineering design experience.
• Experience with offshore FPSO, oil and gas, and LNG terminal projects.
• Leadership experience managing process teams for concept, FEED, and detailed design projects.
• In-depth understanding of process design, heat and material balances, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards, software, and engineering tools.

Nice to have

• Experience on energy transition projects.
• Lead Engineer or Area Lead Engineer experience.
