Senior Process Engineer (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Onsite in Singapore (Tuas)

What you will do

• Lead product manufacturing campaigns from start to finish, providing technical supervision for quality and EHS.
• Develop and maintain Manufacturing/Operating Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Troubleshoot process control system recipes and models to ensure production stability.
• Investigate and resolve quality and EHS issues observed during manufacturing or batch record reviews.
• Implement robust preventive measures and continuous improvements in processes and equipment.
• Coach junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams to achieve production targets.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical) or Science (Chemistry).
• 2-3 years of experience in an API manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within a pharmaceutical setting.
• Experience in project-oriented administration, cost control, and management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Must be based in or able to work at the Singapore (Tuas) site.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with automation systems, specifically DeltaV and equipment validation.
• Knowledge of bacterial fermentation and purification processes.
