Process Engineer (Chemical Engineering)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global Oronite plant on Jurong Island, Singapore. The selected candidate will work under Singapore's local payroll system and benefits. Relocation will not be considered within hirify.global parameters.

hirify.global Oronite operates a chemical manufacturing plant producing and qualifying industrial products and raw materials.

What you will do

• Support process troubleshooting and improvement initiatives to increase plant reliability and capacity.
• Coordinate and participate in HAZOP studies and other process safety activities.
• Develop process improvement proposals and manage their project implementation and execution.
• Perform plant trials for process improvements and raw material qualification.
• Initiate and manage capital projects and perform basic process engineering design.
• Monitor process trends and product quality to ensure conformance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Up to 10 years of relevant experience in the refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industry.
• Knowledge of process design and engineering.
• Familiarity with ASME and API codes and standards.
• Knowledge of HAZOP, root cause analysis, statistical process control, and engineering tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively across staff levels and functional groups.
