TL;DR
Process Engineer (Chemical): Supporting process troubleshooting, plant reliability, capacity improvements, process safety, and product quality at a chemical manufacturing plant with an accent on process design, HAZOP studies, and plant trials. Focus on developing improvement proposals, managing capital projects, qualifying raw materials, and monitoring process trends.
Location: Oronite plant on Jurong Island, Singapore; onsite role. Relocation will not be considered within parameters. Employment uses Singapore's local payroll system and benefits.

What you will do
- Support operations through process troubleshooting and improvement initiatives that increase plant reliability and capacity.
- Coordinate and participate in HAZOP studies to manage process safety.
- Develop process improvement proposals and initiate and manage capital projects.
- Perform plant trials for process improvements and raw material qualification.
- Carry out basic process engineering design and monitor process trends and product quality conformance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Up to 10 years of relevant experience in the refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industry.
- Knowledge of process design and engineering.
- Familiarity with ASME and API codes and standards.
- Knowledge of HAZOP, root cause analysis, statistical process control, and engineering tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and across functional groups.
