King & Moffatt Building Services provides mechanical and electrical building services from design and installation through ongoing facilities maintenance across construction sectors including industrial, logistics, food, pharmaceutical, data centre, mining, healthcare, commercial, hospitality, residential, public, and energy.
What you will do
- Oversee day-to-day operations across M&E projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Develop operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and support staff across multiple projects and regions.
- Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, including high-level meetings and negotiations.
- Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, building regulations, CDM, and industry codes.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, financial performance, cost savings, and margin improvement.
Requirements
- Senior operations leadership experience in the M&E or building services sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, construction processes, and project delivery.
- Leadership, communication, negotiation, commercial, and budget management skills, including P&L responsibility.
- Familiarity with UK building regulations, CDM, and health and safety standards.
- Degree or equivalent in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of M&E project delivery experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.

- CSCS Managers Card, SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH certification.
