Assistant M&E Consultant (Graduate)

What you will do

• Support M&E condition surveys, technical inspections, pre-acquisition surveys, and due diligence assessments.
• Contribute to dilapidations assessments, technical reviews, planned preventative maintenance schedules, and lifecycle replacement plans.
• Visit sites to inspect mechanical and electrical systems, assets, installations, and construction works.
• Collect, analyse, and record asset and survey data, and prepare technical reports and client deliverables under supervision.
• Work with project managers, cost consultants, and multidisciplinary teams while supporting compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Develop commercial, contractual, procurement, and project delivery knowledge while progressing toward professional chartership.

Requirements

• Degree or expected degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attention to detail.
• Proactive approach to learning and professional development, with interest in pursuing membership of CIBSE, IET, or an equivalent professional body.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications and an interest in sustainable building design, engineering systems, and the built environment.
