Site Manager (Water Infrastructure)

Location: Water business based out of the Wakefield office, United Kingdom; onsite site-management duties

What you will do

• Supervise daily site operations for water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment plants.
• Coordinate engineers, planners, site teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and local authorities to deliver project milestones.
• Enforce health, safety, environmental, and sustainability requirements through site protocols, audits, inductions, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor workmanship and materials, maintain site records, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Provide progress updates and manage project risks, issues, budgets, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of site-management experience, preferably in the water sector.
• Track record of delivering infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project-management software and Microsoft Office, plus the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• CSCS Card.
• First Aid Certification.
• EUSR Blue Water Hygiene Card.
• Temporary Works Supervisor or Coordinator and Confined Space Training certifications.
