Disaster Recovery Analyst (AWS)

Location: Milton Keynes, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance at least 12 days per month

Salary: £44,496–£66,744 per annum, depending on experience

What you will do

• Support and deliver disaster recovery strategy across infrastructure and CIO application teams.
• Deliver disaster recovery testing for on-premises and cloud-based services.
• Build and maintain repeatable recovery plans and processes for on-premises and off-premises technology.
• Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvements.
• Support enterprise technology standards, governance processes, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Work with business stakeholders to ensure effective end-to-end recovery plans and operational resilience.

Requirements

• Experience being accountable for resilience and disaster recovery testing.
• Experience embedding resilience and recovery testing into technology delivery and maintenance.
• Technical background or understanding of operating system and database technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including Resilience Hub and Fault Injection Service.
• Experience with ServiceNow, strong documentation skills, and close attention to detail.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

• Understanding of disaster recovery and resilience techniques.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulators’ operational resilience frameworks.
• Experience working in a service-focused company.
• Spanish language skills.
