Senior Solutions Engineer (Data Storage)

Location: Windsor, United Kingdom; hybrid working with in-office and in-person expectations. Travel to customer and partner sites around London, UK, with infrequent international travel.

What you will do

• Lead technical strategy for focused UK enterprise accounts across multiple industries.
• Develop and present data infrastructure solutions through presentations, demonstrations, sizing, and customer proposals.
• Work with reseller and service-integrator partners to support route-to-market and holistic client delivery.
• Identify sales opportunities, develop technical solutions, and build sustained sales pipelines through closure.
• Act as the technical authority for final solution proposals, refining solutions to maximize customer value and revenue.
• Build technical account plans and long-term relationships with customer technical buyers and influencers.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in field presales, technical consulting, or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure data storage, virtualization, cloud, cloud-native technologies, FinOps, DevOps, AI, and data protection and recovery.
• Expertise or qualifications in data storage and data management, including backup and recovery, disaster recovery, cloud storage, and data analytics.
• Experience with target account selling, solution selling, or consultative sales techniques.
• Ability to create financial and commercial arguments for total cost of ownership and procurement methods.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, proposal-writing, and complex problem-solving skills.

• Previous experience working for or with a global data-storage vendor, service provider, partner, or customer.
