Non Technical Program Manager (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Singapore and Kulim, Malaysia; dedicated onsite support at a Malaysian contract manufacturer is required. The role involves travel approximately 50% of the time and is relocation eligible.

What you will do

• Lead daily onsite execution for the Applied NEXX ramp and future production stability.
• Manage production readiness, material status, manufacturing constraints, open actions, and tool build schedules.
• Run daily production-floor scrums with suppliers and Applied stakeholders to resolve shortages and remove delivery barriers.
• Maintain a single source of truth covering tool readiness, long-lead materials, purchase orders, supplier commitments, configuration alignment, engineering changes, and schedule risks.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, planning, purchasing, and quality teams to support the ramp toward multi-tool-per-quarter output.
• Monitor contract manufacturer capacity, staffing, second-shift readiness, training, layout constraints, and production-line maturity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10–15 years of professional experience.
• Expertise in the relevant discipline and broad knowledge of related functional areas.
• Experience leading projects with significant risk and complexity, including execution strategy, milestones, ownership, and resource planning.
• Ability to solve unique, complex business problems and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment, including clean-room conditions, PPE use, extended standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working in tight spaces.
