Automotive Software Design Leader (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead and plan software development activities with Tier1 suppliers.
• Act as the main software interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage resources, project tracking, risks, changes, and software delivery milestones.
• Monitor quality standards and compliance with OEM requirements.
• Coordinate technical discussions and facilitate knowledge transfer between supplier and internal engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in a software lead role with Tier1 suppliers or OEMs.
• Experience with requirements management and task management tools such as JIRA.
• Understanding of Functional Safety and ISO 26262, with experience in ASPICE.
• Experience with diagnostics and communication protocols, plus strong knowledge of C programming standards and coding rules.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional and distributed software teams, stakeholders, and conflicts.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, specializing in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Telecommunications; fluent English is required.

• Experience with braking systems.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
