Senior Product Manager (Data Access)

Location: United States - San Mateo, CA

Base salary: $148,000–$254,000 per year

What you will do

• Own product direction for data access and integration capabilities within the Data Platform.
• Lead engineering teams from ideation through technical development and launch of data ingestion, access, and integration features.
• Define product requirements, supported patterns, scope, and acceptance criteria for engineering delivery.
• Define and ship AI-driven capabilities, including agentic AI experiences and MCP-based integrations.
• Drive integration contracts, dependencies, feature-level design sessions, stakeholder alignment, and delivery execution.
• Analyze product metrics, support customer adoption, and triage customer issues and escalations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• 5+ years working with technical architecture for cloud solutions and security.
• Technical fluency with distributed data systems, including replication and CDC, Kafka-based streaming, Apache Iceberg, data cataloging, microservices, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM roles, policies, principals, and scoped or temporary credentials.
• Experience translating complex technical concepts into functional and persona-level product requirements.
• Ability to manage complex initiatives independently and communicate clearly across multiple teams.

Nice to have

• Experience defining and shipping agentic AI, LLM-powered, or MCP-related product features.
• Experience using AI-assisted approaches for requirements, design, and software delivery.
