Senior Product Owner (Enterprise Data)

What you will do

• Define, maintain, and evolve the strategy and roadmap for enterprise data products supporting Product & Services and Life, Health & Annuities.
• Discover customer and stakeholder needs and translate them into prioritized product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with product managers, business leaders, analysts, architects, data engineers, and technical delivery teams to deliver measurable business value.
• Manage and refine the product backlog, facilitate agile planning, and align roadmaps and sprint plans across product teams.
• Define and track product value drivers such as adoption, quality, operational efficiency, customer impact, and business outcomes.
• Coach team members on product management and agile practices while coordinating complex cross-functional product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and 5–7 years of relevant business experience.
• Experience with enterprise data products, analytics, reporting, governance, or data platform initiatives in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Ability to define and measure product value through business outcomes, adoption, quality, operational efficiency, or customer impact.
• Experience partnering with business leaders, data engineers, architects, analysts, and technical delivery teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Product Management, stakeholder management, user research, technology management, and process design.
• Strong communication, facilitation, prioritization, trade-off management, and influence skills, including influencing without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Certified Product Owner or similar certification.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, or similar modern data platforms.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, data quality, data lineage, or master data management.
• Financial services experience involving life insurance, health insurance, annuities, product management, distribution, or advisor capabilities.
• Experience developing enterprise data products for analytics, customer insights, operational reporting, decision support, or AI-enabled capabilities.
