Senior Solutions Engineer (Data Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in the New York City metro area, United States, with the ability to support customers and partners across the territory.

Target compensation: $197,200–$255,200 USD in on-target earnings, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead and trusted advisor for enterprise accounts.
• Partner with Enterprise Client Executives to develop strategy, build pipeline, and close business.
• Build relationships with channel partners and partner solutions engineers, supporting joint selling and execution.
• Lead discovery sessions to identify business challenges, technical gaps, and future-state goals.
• Architect and configure hirify.global solutions across ONTAP, SAN, NAS, block, file, hybrid cloud, and data protection environments.
• Support new-logo and strategic enterprise opportunities while identifying expansion opportunities in existing accounts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or systems engineering in a quota-driven environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers through complex sales cycles.
• Strong infrastructure and storage background, including SAN, NAS, block, and file technologies.
• Experience designing and configuring customer solutions and translating requirements into deployable outcomes.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud, virtualization, data protection, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Must be based in the designated New York City metro area and able to support customers and partners in the territory.
