Practice Lead - Contaminated Land Department

What you will do

• Lead the strategic and operational performance of the Brisbane Contaminated Land team of more than 20 professionals.
• Drive revenue, utilisation, profitability, and workforce planning outcomes.
• Develop and mentor Team Leaders and senior technical staff.
• Strengthen client relationships and support market engagement and business development.
• Maintain technical delivery, quality assurance, health, safety, and environmental performance.
• Prepare annual hiring plans and contribute to innovation, continuous improvement, and team culture.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in contaminated land and water within an environmental consultancy.
• Strong understanding of Queensland and national environmental frameworks.
• Experience leading and managing teams of 10 or more employees.
• Industry certification such as CEnvP or CPSS, or a strong interest in pursuing certification.
