Senior Technical Program Manager, Mobile

Location: San Mateo, California, United States; hybrid work options available. Domestic and international travel required, estimated at 15–25%.

Base pay: $163,600–$245,400 USD annually, with potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end program execution for mobile applications and infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and delivery across Android native, React Native, backend, and console initiatives.
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and translation of product requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Partner with engineering teams on architecture decisions, technical requirements, and integration points across hirify.global services.
• Manage schedules, risks, executive reporting, roadblocks, and performance-driven priority adjustments.
• Coordinate international stakeholders across the USA, Japan, and UK while standardizing tools and development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager delivering consumer-facing mobile or software products from conception to launch.
• Experience with Android native development, cross-platform frameworks, and infrastructure systems.
• Understanding of native Android/iOS and React Native development lifecycles, mobile architecture, and technical trade-offs.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, risk management, and technical decision-making skills across distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile performance optimization, metrics analysis, and architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or MVP.
• Background in gaming, digital entertainment, or consumer electronics.
• Knowledge of mobile privacy compliance requirements.
• Master’s degree or MBA in a related field.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs and modern mobile development frameworks.
