Physician (Bilingual Spanish) - Virtual Urgent Care (Telemedicine)

Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $227,226–$298,233 per year, plus eligible employee benefits and annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based urgent care through audio, video, written communication, and virtual examination tools.
• Manage complex patients in collaboration with physicians and advanced practice leads.
• Follow up on laboratory results, imaging, and communications with patients and other providers.
• Use remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical examination, and point-of-care diagnostics.
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors.
• Participate in clinical meetings and provide feedback on operational workflows and product features.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Board certification in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• Fluent Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• At least 3 years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience and 2 years of virtual care or telemedicine experience.
• Active licenses in Tennessee and Florida through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact are required.
• Compact license through IMLCC, or eligibility for one based on a full, unrestricted license in a Compact member state, is required. Willingness to obtain additional state licenses is expected.

Nice to have

• Current IMLC Letter of Qualification.
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional licenses in Oscar Medical Group states.
