Cardiology Patient Navigator

Location: Remote · Global; Conditions: Quito, Ecuador. Availability during US business hours, Central Time (CT), is required.

Salary: USD 5–7 per hour

Healthcare operations support for a US-based cardiology care team.

What you will do

• Manage patient scheduling, reminders, follow-up workflows, and cardiology care coordination in EMR/EHR systems.
• Conduct telephonic and remote outreach to reinforce care instructions and coordinate next steps.
• Support CHF management protocols, testing schedules, appointments, and remote patient monitoring workflows.
• Coordinate continuity of care across a caseload of 150+ patients and escalate clinical concerns to providers within scope.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and support billing documentation and insurance coordination.

Requirements

• Clinical healthcare background as a CNA, MA, RN, or equivalent credential.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare, telehealth, or medical office settings.
• Experience with care coordination or care management, preferably in telephonic or remote settings.
• B2+ English proficiency and strong written and verbal English communication are required.
• Experience using EMR/EHR systems and strong patient-centered communication skills.
• Ability to work consistently during US Central Time business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in cardiology, med-surg, ICU, cardiac step-down, CCU, home health, outpatient cardiology, or telemedicine.
• Exposure to remote patient monitoring, CCM, utilization review, medical billing, or prior authorization.
• Prior experience working as a contractor or in startup or evolving environments.
