Cardiology Patient Navigator (Coordinator)

Location: Remote from Mexico City, CDMX, Mexico; must work U.S. business hours in Central Time.

Salary: USD 5–6 per hour

Healthcare care coordination work supporting a U.S.-based cardiology team.

What you will do

• Manage patient scheduling, reminders, follow-up workflows, and testing schedules in EMR/EHR systems.
• Conduct telephone and remote outreach to reinforce care instructions and coordinate next steps.
• Support cardiology care pathways, including CHF management protocols and remote patient monitoring.
• Coordinate continuity of care for a caseload of 150+ patients and escalate clinical concerns to providers within scope.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and support billing documentation and insurance coordination.
• Ensure patient interactions and records meet HIPAA compliance standards.

Requirements

• Clinical healthcare background such as CNA, MA, RN, or an equivalent credential.
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare, telehealth, or medical office settings.
• Experience with care coordination or care management, preferably in telephonic or remote settings.
• B2+ English and B2+ Spanish proficiency are required.
• Experience using EMR/EHR systems and strong patient-centered communication skills.
• Ability to work U.S. business hours in Central Time.

Nice to have

• Experience in cardiology, med-surg, ICU, cardiac step-down, CCU, or home health.
• Outpatient cardiology, home health, or telemedicine experience.
• Remote patient monitoring experience.
• Medical billing or prior authorization knowledge.
• Contractor or startup and evolving-environment experience.
