HVAC Field Service Technician

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota; field-based work at customer locations

Salary: $26.35–$40.77 per hour

What you will do

• Commission, start up, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems at customer locations.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, customers, and on-site partners to plan installations and repairs.
• Diagnose equipment and systems using software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and maintain customer satisfaction across assigned projects.
• Maintain safety, security, and accountability for company assets and equipment.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays when business requirements demand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5 or more years of HVAC experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA certification.

• Technical school education or formal HVAC training.
