Software Architect (AI)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States or Toronto, Canada. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.

What you will do

• Design and architect scalable AI systems, full-stack applications, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build LLM-powered services and agentic workflows that improve developer productivity and player experiences.
• Own architecture decisions and technical strategy for AI tools used across game studios and engineering teams.
• Establish standards for code quality, testing, code review, CI/CD, reliability, and engineering metrics.
• Evaluate AI platforms and infrastructure, document system designs, and identify technical risks.
• Collaborate with product, game studio, and central technology teams while coaching and mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience developing cloud-based software.
• Experience integrating AI/ML systems at the platform layer and strong expertise in Python.
• Strong experience with AWS or other IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud platforms.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes/EKS, SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with web development using JavaScript, Angular, and React.
