Consultant, Cloud (Engineering)

Location: Addison, Texas, United States of America; hybrid work with three days in person and two remote days per week

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and deliver cloud-native applications, cloud platforms, data ingestion solutions, migrations, and cloud strategy initiatives.
• Serve as a technical leader or subject matter expert within small consulting teams.
• Design and estimate implementation tasks and lead implementation workstreams.
• Build landing zones, account structures, and cloud-native architectures for legacy modernization and greenfield applications.
• Present technical concepts to business and technical client audiences.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with project teams to solve challenging problems.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience delivering enterprise cloud solutions across multiple domains in industry or technology consulting.
• Understanding of cloud solution architecture in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Technical experience with cloud-native tooling, platform engineering, data engineering, security engineering, FinOps, or cloud migration.
• Ability to learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and standards quickly.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to clients.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Aurora, EC2, Fargate, S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift, Cognito, IAM, and migration services.
• Experience with Azure services such as Functions, Queue Storage, Cosmos DB, App Services, Blob Storage, Data Lake Analytics, and Database Migration Services.
• Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Looker, Cloud Storage, and migration tools.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CloudHealth, or Cloudability.
